Flashpoint Rentals is located in Vancouver, B.C., however our equipment is seen around the globe. Whether you're looking for a solution to rentals in Calgary, or need your gear packed for a shoot in Kuwait, we have the experience and assistants for making almost any job happen. Delivery Service

As of March 15th, 2009, we have changed our fees for delivery and pick-up of equipment. Instead of charging a flat fee we will now be charging based on the number of pieces of equipment to be transported.

A piece of equipment is considered an equipment case, full stand bag, assorted grip, half a dozen sandbags, etc.

Delivery rates within the city of Vancouver are as follows:

 
$35.00 for up to 5 pieces
$55.00 for up to 10 pieces
$75.00 for more than 10 pieces

For deliveries to bordering municipalities (North Shore, Burnaby and Richmond) please add $20.00 to the rates above. For further outlying areas please call for a quote.

Deliveries and pick-ups must be requested a minimum of 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability.
Hours of deliveries are between 09:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday.

It is the renters responsibility to supply an appropriately sized crew of photo assistants to receive the equipment from deliveries and load the equipment for pick-ups.

Matthews Mini-Max

Flashpoint would like to introduce the Matthews Mini-Max boom. Designed with space saving in mind the Mini-Max can be used in places a standard superboom cannot. Uniquely designed without a 'menace arm' the boom's counter weights are sandbags placed on the legs. Featuring 3 rocky mountain legs the Mini-Max will work on uneven terrain and stairs. With a comparable reach to a superboom yet compact enough to pack in a small car, Mini-Max is sure to become your new favorite boom.

Warehouse Studio

Flashpoint is proud to introduce the “Warehouse Studio” to the photographic community.

It is centrally located in Vancouver’s Gastown area on Powell Street and features its own courtyard for parking.

The air-conditioned Studio itself is located in one of the oldest historic Brick buildings in Vancouver with hardwood floors and west facing windows, which makes it the only daylight rental studio in the city. Metal shutters allow the studio to become totally darkened. The shooting area is just under 2,000 Sq. Ft. (33x55) with a 25ft. ceiling that will accommodate any lighting set up.

Adjacent to the studio space are 2 rooms that can be used for Hair & Make Up, Wardrobe or digital workstations.

Down the hallway is a comfortable lounge area, complete with entertainment centre and a state of the art full size kitchen. A bathroom with walk in shower, wireless high speed internet with FTP server, sound system and a reception service may tempt you to take up residence there.
